The State of Nevada now allows agencies to select any vendor for windshield replacement service on state vehicles. Agencies ARE REQUIRED by Risk Management to secure three repair estimates prior to getting the work done; and work must be done with the low bid vendor. In order to take advantage of the convenience and cost savings afforded to the State, please request the State discount rate when asking for an estimate. Some vendors discounting work to the State are:

For those vehicles insured through Risk Management, the billing process will remain the same. The vendor will bill the agency. It will be the agency’s responsibility to get the original invoice (along with the $300 deductible) to Risk Management as soon as possible so that we can process payment to the vendor in a timely fashion. These agencies also having the option of paying the vendor directly and then seeking reimbursement (less the deductible) from Risk Management. Reports should be made utilizing the on-line
system by clicking on this link http://risk.nv.gov/LP/APC/ and then click
on "Submit a Vehicle Accident/Property Loss Claim." If you are
reporting windshield damage to a state vehicle click on “Submit a Vehicle
Accident Report.” The report should be filled out as completely as possible and
accompanied by three repair estimates.
